Launching Fall 2026 · University of Toronto

Find Your People in Product.

UofT Product Group is the community for students finding their footing in product — learn alongside peers, hear from real PMs, and feel at home in the world of product.

You're Not Figuring This Out Alone.

UofT Product Group puts you in a room with peers who are on the exact same journey — curious, ambitious, and just getting started.

Conversations With Real PMs.

Every month we bring in working PMs from Toronto's tech ecosystem for honest, informal conversations. No panels. No gatekeeping. Just real people who've made it, talking to people who want to.

Learn by Doing.

Bi-weekly Product Labs put you through real PM exercises — frameworks, case practice, peer feedback, and hands-on projects. You leave with experience, not just notes.

How We Run

Three ways we build together.

01

Product Labs

Bi-weekly

Hands-on 90-minute sessions where members work through real PM concepts together. Case practice, peer exercises, structured feedback. This is where the learning happens.

  • Concept review and framing
  • Case practice and peer exercises
  • Structured group feedback
  • Real PM frameworks applied in session
02

PM Guest Sessions

Monthly

Informal conversations with APMs, PMs, and product leaders from Toronto's tech scene. Day-in-the-life talks, real decisions, real stories.

  • Day-in-the-life talks (single PM, informal)
  • APM / PM conversations with Q&A
  • Real decisions, real stories
  • Direct access to Toronto's product ecosystem
03

Projects

Once per term

A 4-6 week scoped project where members produce a real PM artifact — a discovery brief or lo-fi solution pitch. Put what you've learned into practice.

  • Fall: Discovery brief
  • Winter: Lo-fi solution pitch
  • Scoped and supported throughout
  • Builds a tangible PM portfolio piece
Who It's For

UofT Product Group is for any UofT student who is curious about product. No experience, portfolio, or plan required — just the desire to be in the room.

Ready to Find Your People?

We're building UofT's first PM community from the ground up. If you're curious about product and want to be part of something from day one — this is for you.
